There’s lots of independent shops, cafes and restaurants in the nearest town of Harleston (3 miles away). If you can’t go without your favourite takeaway you’ll find Macdonalds, KFC, Starbucks and a 24 hour garage with shop in Beccles, NR34 0HF, 15 mins away. Guest access Guests can access Sunflower shepherds hut by means of the keysafe and I occasionally meet guests to show them around depending on their arrival time but mostly it’s via the keysafe. Guests have full access to their own shepherds hut, fire pit, bbq for summer months (I tend to put the bbq away during winter months). You have your own patio and garden area including furniture and wooden lockable storage box for cycles/fire pit logs. You can walk through the meadow ensuring you stick to the cut pathways as wildlife venture in during the night and sometimes dig up the wildflowers and long grasses. Other things to note There is a road behind the shepherds huts, screened with tall trees/hedgerows. There is potential for road noise early mornings and teatimes with work traffic mid week. This reduces greatly at weekends. Our commitment to the natural environment means we continue to plant more trees and native hedging year on year.
