Banange Brewing Owner's Flat

Banange Brewing Co's owner's flat is located in the heart of Kampala, walking distance from offices, restaurants and bars. The flat has its own private terrace & plant collection, a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a small baby room & access to a shared garden. Situated on-site is Uganda's only craft brewery, Yujo (an amazing Japanese restaurant) & TIA (a great place for Ugandan fabric & crafts). This lively compound is a great spot for anyone who wants to experience Kampala. The space The flat is our home when we are in Kampala. However, we're only there some of the time now as I started a new job in Kigali. It's a spacious 1-bedroom house in the far corner of the compound, providing good privacy. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a full spice rack that you're welcome to use and complementary tea and coffee for your morning wake up routine. We have a nice private patio with some sofas to relax on and a slowly growing garden, including a small tree nursery out of the way behind the house. There is a small baby room with a large crib that can be converted to a kids bed which fits kids until the age of around 3-4. If you are coming with a baby or young child, there are plenty of kids books and toys to keep them entertained. But don't worry, they'll be fully cleared away and out of your way if you don't need them. Guest access The flat has a private outside patio with some sofas to enjoy a quiet moment. The compound has a big shared garden with tables. In the mornings you'd likely be the only person in the garden, while in the afternoon and evening you might be joined by some of the restaurant guests. The best Japanese restaurant with great suhsi choices is based on the same compound and a great choice for lunches or dinners. Uganda's only craft brewery is also on the same compound and they'll be very happy to offer you a tour and a beer tasting. The beers are also available on tap through the restaurant. The compound also has a high-end sowing business where you can get some great clothes or decorations in Kitenge fabric. A small art gallery and a coffee shop are expected to open soon.
