K'uychi Mila Nature Reserve

In this accommodation, far from the city, you can breathe tranquility. The K'uychi Mila Nature Reserve (Arcoiris, taita) is located in the village of El Líbano, 40 minutes from the urban head of the municipality of Orito, in the department of Putumayo. Our guests can be in permanent contact with the biodiversity of the Andean-Amazonian foothills, ideal for sighting wild fauna and flora (birds, herpetofauna, primates, medicinal plants, others). The space We have 2 cabins: * Ayllu (family): with capacity for 8 people located in 1 bed 1.40mt, mats and tents; rest area, hammocks, balconies, loft, 2 bathrooms, floating mesh; radio, chair, closet, a nightstand, rocking chair, table and handmade chairs. * Uchuy (small): with capacity for 4 people located in 1 bed 1.20mt, mats and tents; loft, radio, table, chair, closet, nightstand and handmade chairs located in the corridor. Guest access There is a kitchen with a wood stove, an ecological kitchen with an oven, an artisanal dining room, a sports court and pancoger crops from the region to get closer to the community's production lines. In addition, there is a water source named: "Pozo de Mama Concia o Virgen de Caquiona", in which it is recommended to take a bath as healing therapy. As well as access to the El Luzón ravine that forms a natural pool. Depending on the weather conditions, you can enjoy a pleasant campfire in the Chacana and tulpa, symbolism of our Yanacona indigenous people, in which you can mambear the word, remembering the cultural heritage of the peasant community of the traditional and/or cultural territory of our people. Other things to note Due to its location, there is no electricity in the Reserve, therefore, solar lamps are located, and candle or wick light options. There is a signal for the Claro operator (only for data). It is recommended to bring swamp boots, repellent, flashlight, comfortable clothing, and extra clothing, since, due to the conditions of the trail, unforeseen events may sometimes occur. The price per night includes breakfast; if you require food service for dinners and lunches, you must make the request at least 5 days in advance. Our menu of peasant food from the territory, traditional and/or cultural of the Yanacona people will be presented. There is also a vegetarian and vegan option.
