Some original squeaks in the floor remain despite my best efforts. At some point in the past, probably due to being overloaded with machinery the house now has a slope from front to back. I don’t notice it anymore, however you may do at first. Most of the pixie doors in the kitchen have been widened and raised, tho the doorway to the downstairs shower room is low, if you are over 5’ 9” kindly mind your head. Thank you. If you are interested n the renovation a photo album is in the lounge. All works passed by building control. The house is a 5 minute walk to the centre of Honley with restaurants, pubs, shops and a supermarket. My family are regular visitors to Canton Chef chinese, La Dantri Italian, & Savaro lebanese restaurants. Wired coffee and cake is a must. Holmfirth is a 10 min taxi/bus/car ride away with many restaurants, pubs, shops and supermarkets. Last of the summer wine exhibits, and of course Norah Batty’s house is now a themed cafe. There's a swimming baths, gym and crown green bowling. Live music is commonly played at many venues including the Picturedrome.
