This spacious 3-bedroom home features beautiful grounds, mature trees, a heated plunge pool (Nov–Mar), spa, indoor and outdoor fires, and wrap-around decks. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, separate laundry, and a ground-floor master with ensuite. Upstairs offers two large bedrooms and a full bathroom with separate bath and shower. The space The home is set up with everything you will need to enjoy a weekend away or a longer stay. With free wifi and a work desk in the master bedroom, ‘working from home’ during an extended stay is a breeze. Whether you’re here in the winter with the indoor and outdoor fireplaces roaring and the spa bubbling away, or in the summer when you’re enjoying a BBQ before you jump in the pool - you’re sure to love your time at Fantail Cottage. Location Fantail Cottage is located on one of Greytown's most desirable and quiet streets. With the Main Street only a 5 minute walk away you can enjoy exploring the fabulous shopping and dining on offer. Bedrooms There are 3 spacious bedrooms. The ground floor master has a king bed with ensuite shower room. The 2 queen rooms upstairs share a bathroom with a bath and separate shower. Note: you will see in the photos a top bunk above the queen in bedroom 3 - this is not available for use however requests for use will be considered. Please enquire when booking. Facilities Outside there is so much to entertain, relax and enjoy. A luxurious salt water plunge pool (6m x 3m) is heated from 1 November to 31 March. The 6 seater spa is available all year round, and is especially delightful on a starry winter’s night. There is a comfortable outdoor seating area with an outdoor fireplace, perfect for roasting marshmallows, sharing a platter and yarning the night away (this must not be used if a regional council fire ban is in place, usually during late summer). Fantail cottage is a haven for children with a trampoline, toys, books, puzzles, drawing supplies and lots of space to roam. Guest access The full house and grounds Other things to note Our cleaning fees include - Professional cleaning to ensure your stay is safe and enjoyable - Hired linen - Hotel quality linen which is commercially laundered locally - White fluffy towels for the pool/ spa Please note: Sheet changes are offered for stays longer than 7 nights at an additional cost. The Wairarapa is home to the native cockroach. Although our homes are professionally sprayed and treated yearly you may see the odd one during your stay.
