Shea's Suite in Historic Winchester

Enjoy incredible rolling mountain views from this hillside apartment on a small horse farm. This second floor apartment is next door the host's chalet on 6 acres surrounded by huge farms and woods (there are 3 total units). We are 10 minutes from I-64, I-75 and 20 minutes from Lexington and Richmond. Ft. Boonesborough and the Civil War Fort are at the bottom of the hill. Nearby are historical downtown Winchester, kayaking on the Kentucky River, Red River Gorge, Keeneland, and much much more. The space This apartment is a separate unit but attached to the main house by a large deck. An additional rental is below this apartment that is currently rented out long term. It has it's own private deck and incredible views from every room! It is newly refinished on the inside and out. If you need anything you (or we) forgot, you can just ask the hosts and we can bring it right over! We can give you your privacy or converse with you as we manage the farm. Guest access There are two entrances (back private entrance preferred) and both require climbing stairs. The back has a brand new wood deck with French doors and a keypad. The side has a spiral staircase with a shared deck and another keypad. Both have covered entrances in case it's raining on your arrival. You have full access to your space and shared access with the backyard. Please clean up after your pets and mind our garden. The Chief of Police is one of our neighbors and has a clear view to the property at all times. Guests have designated parking next to the apartment and easy access to your back steps. Two vehicles may fit there, but if additional parking is needed, please contact host and we will see what we can do (parking is limited)--narrow lot. Other things to note Please keep in mind that the HVAC unit is shared by the upstairs guests and the downstairs guests and so window units are provided so you can cool it more if you need to. Also, the downstairs' renter's phone numbers is provided and she can turn the air up or down if need be. Keep pets on a leash.
