Rent this one-bedroom, 500+ sq. ft. apartment in a super fun neighborhood with lots to walk to + quick access to the University of Portland, Forest Park, Sauvie Island, NW Portland/Pearl District/downtown, Vancouver, four bus lines. The space has lots of windows, A/C, sleeps up to four, has a kitchenette + dining area. Well behaved + housebroken pets can be accommodated for an additional fee depending on the size, number of pets + length of stay. Send Inquiry so I can respond with offer. This one-bedroom apartment is the entire front half of our house. The apartment includes the bedroom with a queen-size bed, cozy living room with a full-size sofa bed, bathroom, and kitchenette stocked with basic ware. The kitchenette contains a refrigerator, table and chairs, coffeemaker, hot water kettle, toaster oven, induction burners, and microwave. Please note that the restroom is accessed through the bedroom. There's a speaker to play your music, Wi-Fi, TV. Linens, books, and board games are available to you. Summer months are lovely, with central air conditioning, a sunflower forest in the front, many varieties of dahlias, and so much to do within a 10-minute walk. Private space as mentioned above, with a separate entrance through the front door of the house. Coffee and tea, as well as breakfast bars and oatmeal, will be available each morning. AND, there are so many delicious breakfasts and grocery stores close by. The Apartment is the front half of my house, set up as a one bedroom apartment with a kitchenette, small dining area, living room with sofa bed, bedroom with queen bed and full bathroom accessed through the bedroom. There is a locked door between the front apartment and the back. There is not access to the back yard at this time. Parking is always available on our street. Secure Motorcycle Parking can be arranged behind out gate, just let us know ahead of time. We have busy schedules, and are also happy to assist you during your stay. We'd love to provide additional suggestions of local places, fun activities, and ideas for adventures! If you have questions or emergencies, we're always available. The apartment is in the awesome St. Johns neighborhood, and very close to many other neighborhoods (look up and explore Kenton, NW Portland, the Pearl District, University Park, Cathedral Park, and of course downtown)! We're near a fun food cart pod, and just a 10-minute walk to downtown St. Johns, where there are hip bars, dive bars, restaurants, shops, a farmer's market on Saturdays from May to October, two movie theaters, the historic St. Johns Bridge, two yoga studios, a gym, and more! Check out Eater Portland's #1 burrito at Tienda Santa Cruz, delicious vegan barbecue at Homegrown Smoker, Indian food at The Sudra, breakfast at John Street Cafe, trivia/bocce ball/ping pong at Leisure, live music at The Fixin' To or Slims, coffee at Two Stroke Coffee or St. Johns Coffee Roasters, typewriter shopping at Ace Typewriter, record shopping at Vinyl Resting Place, sunset view from the middle of the St. Johns Bridge, ETC.! Forest Park, just a few miles away, if you want to hike in one of the largest urban forests in the country: https://www.pdxmonthly.com/articles/2017/5/15/eight-essential-forest-park-hikes Smith and Bybee Wetlands, for lakes and wildlife, is also a few miles away: https://www.oregonmetro.gov/parks/smith-and-bybee-wetlands-natural-area Head to Sauvie Island, a 20-minute drive, for year-round hiking, beaches, produce stands, a cool nursery, and seasonal activities: https://www.travelportland.com/article/sauvie-island/ There is plenty of on-street parking available in front of and near the house, and secure motorcycle parking behind my gate. Portland public transportation is super convenient and there are four bus lines close by, trimet.org. Additionally, we have car2gos, reliable taxi companies, Lyft, and Uber. Want to bring your dog? Happy to accommodate for a fee after we discuss. Pets must be well behaved and house broken. Send an inquiry and I will respond quickly with special offer that includes the pet fee that is appropriate for the size / number of pets / length of stay. If you do not tell me you are bringing a pet, and do so anyway, a cleaning fee will be assessed and requested after your stay.
