Our home is exactly 1 mile to downtown clayton. Your family will be close to everything when you stay at our centrally located home. Our family and friends have shared so many laughs and made so many great memories here. We hope your family enjoys the mountains as much as we do. There are so many waterfalls, hikes and lakes to spend your time. If you need any suggestions for fun activity's just ask. I'm happy to make suggestions. My husband and I can also provide catering upon request. The space We have two private bedrooms. We have a loft with a bunkbed with a Fullsize bed on the bottom bunk. We also have a pullout mattress underneath the bunk you can use for an extra person staying in the loft. Open kitchen concept so the whole family can smell the aromas of dinner being prepared. We have a grill on the patio to grill burgers & steaks. Wi-Fi works great, but we also have great service for most cell phone providers. Guest access You will be able to access the entire home with the exception of a closet and one pantry that we keep some personal belongings. Other things to note Our property does not have any sort of yard. It is a traditional mountain home. The surrounding terrain is mountainous. The driveway is on a hill. The road accessing the home is a little narrow. During the fall/winter season there can be a lot of leaves accumulate quickly and sometimes ice on the driveway. If there is snow or icy you can park at the top of the driveway. Below is our check out instructions for full transparency reasons. CHECKOUT INSTRUCTIONS Will you please do the following: (1) Check under the bed and all rooms for any belongings you may have left behind; log out of your HULU, Netflix, etc. on the tv's. (2) Turn off all the lights and A.C set to 77 AC or 60 Heat. (3) Please take all sheets off the bed(s) you used and leave them beside the washer and dryer. (4) Make sure all the windows and doors are shut. (5) Put dishes in dishwasher and start the cycle. (6) Take your trash with you*** (7) Make sure grill and stove is turned off. (8) Exit out the front door and push the "lock" button. ***Here in the mountains trash pickup is not like it is in the city. Therefore, there is not traditional trash pickup. If you are unable to take trash, please coordinate with host or property manager. Do not leave any trash outside the home at any time. This will attract animals, and they will make a big mess. There is trash facilities located all over the county. You will see signs that say for local use only. This is only to deter neighboring county's from bringing their trash to our dumps.
