Perfectly hemmed in by the Ashokan Reservoir, hiking, and the rail trail. The interior features a mix of vintage furnishings along with modern comforts. A 20 minute drive takes you to Rosendale, Kingston, or Woodstock for shops, breweries and excellent dining. Town of Olive Registration # STR-22-23 One bedroom with a new queen sized bed, space to store your luggage and unpack, a full bathroom with shower, tub and a washer/dryer. A complete kitchen with microwave, basic spices, and cookware, and if you want to cook we have plenty of room for your groceries and farm fresh eggs. This sweet cottage sits on the same property as our house, with a gated yard and outdoor seating. We are a great jumping off point to explore nature summer through winter, with so many amazing upstate destinations to lose yourself in. We have two dedicated parking spaces available for guests. Up here the only street lights are the moon and stars. On your first night if you are arriving after dark let us know so that we can light your way. Upon arrival follow the path to the left to reach the Lily. The Guest House is located within walking distance to the scenic Ashokan Promenade Reservoir walk and the panoramic views of the Catskill Mountains. We are 3 miles drive from the Ashokan Center. Premiere road biking is right outside your door on Rt 213. You are 5 miles from the Ashokan Rail Trail - Shokan parking lot. 10 miles from the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail - Rosendale Trestle parking lot at Binnewater Rd. Hiking trails are abundant in the area and you are close to local skiing at Belleayre and Hunter. The Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska State Park are a short car ride away.
