Quiet, private room in charming house just 15 minutes from NYC and 3 minutes from Piermont on the Hudson. The house is situated on 3/4 of an acre in a quiet residential neighborhood. Hiking and biking trails are around the corner, the direct bus to NYC is a 15 minute walk from house and there are ample restaurant, cafe and shopping opportunities in Northvale, NJ, Piermont, NY and Nyack, NY, all within a 5 minute care ride away. There is a driveway with a space for two additional cars on the property. Suburban living generally requires a car in the US, but I have had PHd students working at Lamont observatory who were fine using a bicycle during their stay. The bus to NYC is a 15 minute walk away.
