Beautiful Caribbean home with a panoramic view of the Atlantic ocean. Enjoy the scenery and the trade winds on the spacious front veranda. In the back there is a gazebo perfect for long lasting meals. The garden is big and the property has a private feel, yet it is located close to the airport, shops and restaurants. It is an amazing place to spend time and relax when not exploring the island. The house has an open kitchen-livingroom area. Its a lovely place to hang out in the daytime, or relax with books or a movie in the evening. There is a big TV with a sound bar, cable TV is available or log on to Netflix. The kitchen is well equipped, and has everything you need to make good food. It is well stocked with dinnerware and a variety of wine glasses. There is AC and ceiling fans in the living room and all the 3 bedrooms. The bedrooms have comfortable beds, the master with a king size bed and the other two have queen sized beds. There are two tastefully decorated and modern bathrooms. We have childrens equipment like: baby/toddler bed, highchair, bathtub and plates/cups/cutlery readily available depending on your needs. The whole house will be for your private use. If you wish to rent the house with only two bedrooms (the 3rd one would be locked and not in use) please look for the listing called «Pumpkin house: 2 bedrooms» in the same location. The garage is closed off because we use it for storage. There is a carport for your use, so one car can be parked in the shade. There are spaces for 2 other cars on the property. You will be met at the house on arrival by one of our family members, or Madeleine who helps us take care of the house. You can contact them or us if any questions during your stay, and we will make a true effort to help you out! There is a printed guidebook in the house with our favourite spots on the island, and we are happy to give any additional advice! The house is located northeast of St. John, on a small hill with amazing views of the Atlantic ocean. It is a 3 minutes drive to Jabberwock beach, home of kitesurfing in Antigua. Dickinson bay is about 10 minutes away, and since the island is quite small, most beaches can be reached within 30 minutes. There are some really good restaurants located close by. The house is in close proximity to the airport, AUA and Coolidge cricket grounds. We would recommend renting a car for the period of your stay. Alternatively it should be possible to manage with taxi services, but this is depending on your needs.
