The apartment is just 5 minutes by car from Madeira's best sandy beach. Good diving, snorkeling, fishing opportunities and a paragliding center is located nearby. Peaceful countryside and amazing sea views from the terrace of the apartment. Small shops, restaurants, snack-bars, church, pharmacy are walk-by or a short drive away from the apartment. Funchal can be reached in 30 minutes by car. The location is an excellent starting point for levada tours and trekking. We recommend our apartment especially to those couples who love country life, who want to discover the real Madeira life, culture and countryside, who love nature, good air, who like to hike in the mountains and become part of all the natural wonders that Madeira provides. As the apartment is only accessible by stairs (which is very common in Madeira), we do not recommend our accommodation for the people with walking difficulties. It's worth knowing that, like almost all of Madeira, our area is also under constant real estate development, so there may be occasional noise from construction in the area, but basically our area is quiet and completely safe. We came here for holiday in Madeira for the first time in 2021 and fell in love with the island's greenery, mountain and sea view and flower paradise, and than we decided to achive our dream: living in Madeira.
