Please be aware that traffic around Los Angeles County gets very busy during most hours of the day. We recommend you look up our city of Montebello to see how far we are to your points of interests before deciding to stay with us. The guest space is a private, detached, ~450sq ft guest studio located behind the main house roomy enough to comfortably fit 2 adults and a small child. You will have your own private guest entrance through the side gate that will lead you to the studio and your own separate patio space. The rest of the backyard will be shared with us. The guest space is an open floor plan with a full kitchen, private bathroom, and bedroom/living space. There is plenty of free street parking in front of the house with no restrictions except during street cleaning hours 11:30A-4P on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The home is also in a great location just down the street from the freeway far enough from the noise but close enough to access in a couple minutes. We are about 30 miles away from most beaches, Disneyland, Universal Studios, and Burbank/LAX/Long Beach Airport. We understand you have many choices to stay so what sets us apart from hotels and other BnBs is that we can offer EARLY CHECK (upon request) and have no parking fees with very easy street parking in front of the house. We all know hotels do not allow general early check in without paying a hefty fee so this alone is worth staying with us. We are travelers too so we understand wanting to get your day going as soon as possible. To stay competitive our nightly rates change and are set by Airbnb based on the current market. Please coordinate with us for early arrival. Gate will be locked until then so please do not just show up early without prior approval. PLEASE NOTE: We are a private family home and not a place for parties or to entertain outside guests. We are not a rental company so please keep in mind that we will not have the same resources as a hotel or management company, laundry & housekeeping services are not offered, and we ask for your patience & flexibility if typical household issues come up during your stay. Please let us know of any issues so we can address them right away. If we don’t know we can’t help. We have wifi but don’t advertise for business travel or WFH due to the possibility of a network outtage beyond our control. If you plan to WFH please have your own backup wifi. Also be aware that since we are in a residential neighborhood you may hear our neighbors’ pets any time of the day. Only registered guests listed on the reservation are allowed on the property at any time. This is not an event space or a place to entertain outside guests. We give you your space and privacy but welcome any interaction with our guests. Feel free to reach out to us any time if you have any questions or issues and we will respond quickly during reasonable hours. Montebello is considered one of the "gateway cities" that connects Los Angeles County and Orange County so it is a great middle ground to explore both areas. Nearby Colleges/Universities: USC ~10 miles away USC PA School ~6miles away Cal State LA ~5miles away FIDM ~10 miles away Mount St. Mary's ~10 miles away East LA College ~1 mile away Southern California is very spread out and not commuter friendly so you will need a car to get around. Check out the Turo App (like the Airbnb of rental cars) instead of traditional rental car companies for some good deals. Uber and Lyft Ride share are also readily available in the area. To complete your booking, the full names of all guests accessing the property must be submitted within 24 hours or you reservation will be cancelled. Outside guests are not allowed. If you are new to Airbnb or have no reviews you will be required to submit a copy of your ID in case of incidentals or damages. Name on ID must match the reservation or it will be cancelled. There are multiple exterior cameras around the home to monitor for extra persons not included on the reservation and other suspicious activity. Any misconduct or violation of the house rules or Airbnb’s guest policy will involve law enforcement and immediate termination without refund. Please do not travel if you are sick. If you become sick prior to your arrival you may reschedule your reservation to a later date. Strict Cancellation Policy still applies. Thank you for your understanding.
