Beautiful log cabin on Half Moon Lake

Plan an unforgettable summer vacation at our family’s spacious yet cozy log cabin on Half Moon Lake, one of the cleanest lakes in Polk County! Enjoy morning kayak rides, afternoon grill-outs on the deck, and evening bonfires at our fire pit by the lake. Our two-story home includes four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a finished walk-out basement. In our open kitchen and living room, you'll relax beneath pine beams and next to a stone fireplace, with large windows overlooking the lake and trees. The space BEDROOMS: Our home has 4 bedrooms to comfortably sleep 8 (permit maximum) along with 3 full bathrooms. The master bedroom is located in the private loft area with a queen size bed, large walk-in closet and full bathroom. This bedroom has separate zone air conditioning and heat! The main floor has two bedrooms - one with a king size bed and one with 4 bunk beds (perfect for kiddos or teenagers). The main floor bathroom has a full bath and shower. The 4th bedroom is located in a beautiful finished walkout basement with a king size bed and full bathroom. The laundry room with a washer and dryer is on this floor as well. MAIN FLOOR AND KITCHEN: The great room on the main floor is spacious and cozy at the same time. With large pine beams, a stone fireplace, a luxurious leather couch, and two sliding doors that lead out to the deck. Part of this great room is a kitchen that is fully equipped to meet all your culinary desires. The large wooden dining table is the perfect place for a delicious family dinner. THE DECK: A large outside deck looks over the lake side of the property and a covered porch extends the length of the log home with Adirondack chairs and a gas grill. A great spot to sip coffee in the morning or enjoy a rainy day. BASEMENT AREA: Kick back in our walkout basement with a pool table, dart board, television and comfortable sitting area with an amazing view of the lake. BACKYARD & LAKESHORE: At the lakeside we have a large boathouse with a comfortable sitting area with fantastic views of the lake. On nice evenings you can also enjoy a bonfire at our fire pit. (Dry wood is provided.) HALF MOON LAKE: Half moon is a recreational lake that is deep, clear, and clean for swimming, water sports and fishing. We offer a canoe and kayak for use and a floating swim platform. Our long dock has space for guests to bring their own boats if they wish. SURROUNDING AREA: We recommend adventuring out to the surrounding towns. Balsam lake, Milltown, and Luck are just 10 minutes away. The newest state park in Wisconsin - Straight Lake state park is 8 minutes from our lake home and offers great hiking and is on the famous ice age trail! Another fantastic option is Interstate Park - 20 minutes away in St. Croix Falls on the St Croix River. The trails along the bluffs of the river offer very pretty and challenging hiking. We also have several wineries and breweries nearby.
