Rex Officio: nr Lulworth Cove in quiet village

Rex Officio, once part of an office selling coach travel, is a memorable name for a perfect Dorset retreat. Hugely popular as a peaceful hideaway, couples now our friends return year on year. Whilst Rex is tucked away in a quiet corner of one of Purbeck's serene farming villages, the Jurassic coast sits just four miles away with easy access to Lulworth Cove or Durdle Door. Walkers will appreciate the challenge of a climb up high Chaldon or an easier trail along the valley to the SW coastal path. The space Having parked off road to the side of Rex, the ground floor is spacious enough to include a well-appointed kitchen with fridge-freezer, good-size dining table, comfy settee, smart tv. and good broadband for WIFI. Upstairs is a super-king size bed and shower and toilet and visitors love to lie in bed and watch the star-lit sky. Whilst there is no charge to bring your pets, we ask that you keep them out of the bedroom area make use of the dog litter bin across the road. The local thatched pub is a hop, skip and jump from the front door and a wonderful place for a relaxing drink after a walk through the countryside Guest access The whole cottage and garden is yours to enjoy. We make it a point of being on site to welcome our guests to see they have everything needed to may their stay enjoyable and interesting. Other things to note There is a good village store on Winfrith high street, around a mile down the road with Dorchester being a 15-minute drive away. This vibrant market town is the county town of Dorset and there are four walking trails around the town. As well as our numerous nearby seaside towns and beaches, make sure you visit Moreton church and its beautiful stained glass windows
