The Seahorse Studio cottage is a bright and spacious efficiency apartment with a full kitchen, full bath, full-sized bed, dining and sitting areas. It's located right by the bay with gorgeous views. This is one of five units on the property, with a shared pool, lush garden, and free kayaks and paddle boards for guests to enjoy. We're a 5-minute walk to Taino Beach and centrally located near restaurants and activities. Dockage is available for an additional fee. The Seahorse is bright and airy. The kitchen, living space, and sleeping area are in one large, open area. And it's a few steps to the docks on the bay, where we've spotted loads of snappers, parrot fish, a file fish or two, a Nassau Grouper, and, of course, seahorses! The bathroom includes a walk-in shower. However, it is situated down one step, along a short hall, and up another step. It's an unusual set-up, but it works well as long as guests are fine with a few steps. We’re on a bay within the Bell Channel inlet, very close to the fuel dock and where boaters can check-in with Customs & Immigration. This unit faces the water. We have a shared pool, garden area, and shared laundry room. It's a short walk to Taino Beach, and beachfront restaurants, bars, and entertainment. We're available if our guests have questions, need directions, or need something to make their stay more comfortable (we'll do our best!). The neighborhood is quiet and centrally located. The area is walkable and surrounded by lush, tropical trees and plants. It's a 5-minute walk through a gorgeous pathway to the beach from here. While you can walk to Taino Beach and several restaurants and bars, please be aware that the island is 154 kilometers (96 miles) long. There is a lot to do & see. The very best way to explore the island is by car. Taxis are available but there is no central number to call and they can be limited and expensive! We suggest renting a car. The cost of a one-way taxi from the airport is almost as much as a full day’s rental for a car. **Book your rental car in advance! There are no kiosks at the airport and if you wait until the last minute, you won’t likely get a vehicle (and prices are often higher). Most rental car companies here give a discount for more than 5 days and they can do your paperwork in advance and have your vehicle waiting for you at the airport or harbour, saving your valuable time for fun adventures!
