The Thanet Loop (Friends Corner) is a short 5-minute walk away, serving as an excellent gateway to Margate, Canterbury, Deal and Ramsgate. We've provided sun shades, picnic blankets, lightweight bags and flasks for your adventures. With the kitchen at the heart of our home, you'll find a collection of cookbooks, a utensil for every occasion and appliances to match - suitable for lite bites or more hearty feasts. Each meal can be enjoyed on a beautiful wooden river table in the lounge or casual alfresco style on the terrace overlooking the lush landscape. The lounge area has been arranged to accommodate larger families comfortably. The sofa has a reputation for afternoon snoozes and the table is renowned for loving memories, feasts and treats. New for this year, we've added a small outdoor BBQ, a beautiful yellow indoor log burner for those cozy evenings and a hive heating system which is pre set in an effort to be more environmentally friendly. Guest access The Kingsgate Bay Cottage is yours to enjoy - we ask you not to enter the loft and we have cornered/ screened off a small area at the back of the garden beyond the swings for some personal storage - thank you. Other things to note In addition to the seven beautiful beaches, Broadstairs is host to a number of nearby attractions and activities throughout the year offering an array of exceptional restaurants, bars, cafes, boutique shops, live entertainment, food festivals and art galleries, there's fun for both friends and families. Additionally, the renowned towns of Margate and Ramsgate, featuring numerous amenities, are just a mile or two away. Pets are welcomed with a secure garden and plenty of beaches for them to discover! *for your safety the cottage is fitted fire alarms and fire blankets* Be Beach Safe. This means checking the weather and the tides, keeping an eye on your family. In an emergency, call 999 for the Coastguard. Continuing to keep your safety at forefront of mind, the nearest Defibrillator Machine is outside the Botany Bay Hotel at the end of the road. 999 will give you the access code.
