Parking, bedding, towels & wifi. Walk to the Calgary Stampede! The space A lovely, cozy, upstairs room with built in double bed, closet, desk with chair and night stand, in Downtown Calgary! Fenced in quiet back yard with grass and flowers in summer. We are within walking distance from downtown core and a beautiful mountain and skyline view. Nearby are river trails for biking, running, walking. In our quaint cottage home, friendly, trendy, artsy neighbourhood. Well maintained Century home.  Perfect location to stay and experience all that Calgary has to offer. Walking distance from the Calgary Stampede in early July; the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth!  Whether you are visiting and touring our great city, or planning to stay a while, we are happy to accommodate you. The main floor full bathrooms was renovated a few years back with airbnb in mind. Within 3-5 blocks there are four restaurants and 2 convenience stores. Also in walking distance, to the south, is the Crossroads Farmer's Market, open Fri, Sat, Sun, selling fresh produce, foods from different countries and just about anything else. A short walk north takes you to a trendy street with numerous specialty shops, pharmacies, coffee shope, brewhouses and entertainment. One parking spot on site available at no extra charge. If you have no vehicle, we're on a bus route and it's 10 minutes to downtown or you can walk it in 25 minutes. We're also a short distance from the (rapid transit) C-Train, Stampede/Victoria Park and Erlton Stations.  We'll supply bedding and towels. Wifi is also available at no cost. Our guests can feel free to cook meals, do laundry, and make themselves at home. If you're here for a quiet time, or busy with site seeing or work activities, you will enjoy peace and quiet. If you care to chat, we are happy to get to know you and provide helpful information about the area. Guest access You'll have access to the kitchen for cooking and eating, can sit outside in the yard or in the living room if desired. During your stay We are happy to provide helpful information about the area including sites to see, modes of transport, bus information etc. Other things to note A fee will be required (at time of arrival) if you've brought an excessive amount of items that do not fit in your space and require storage, including extra luggage, household items, kitchen supplies, furniture etc. If letters, bills, parcels etc, addressed to guests, are expected to arrive after checked out, they can be forwarded to you, for a fee, paid & arranged in advance.
