The space Swarga is a heritage home located in Jyatha, Thamel — the cultural and touristic heart of Kathmandu. After graduating from Australia and working at the prestigious 6-star Palazzo Versace Hotel, I returned home to transform my family residence — built by my parents 40 years ago — into a boutique accommodation that reflects both traditional Nepali craftsmanship and modern design sensibilities. As the architect, interior designer, and host, I have personally curated every detail of Swarga to offer you an authentic yet comfortable stay. The exterior showcases a fusion of Neoclassical and Traditional Nepali architecture, while the interiors feature handmade furniture, salvaged heritage woodwork, and natural materials sourced locally.
