Goodwood, Brighton, Fontwell, Amberly & the Witterings nearby. The space Set over three floors, this unique 2200 Sq ft river home was built around 1780. Now tastefully restored, decorated and furnished to a high modern standard. 17th century ship beams form the center piece for our large open living and dining room.  The living room has a pull out double sofa bed. The lounge leads to the yoga exercise area and arcade for those looking to stay relaxed, fit & entertained.  From here, walk out onto the river patio with 5 person hot tub and outdoor dining table. Watch the boats pass by on the Arun river. The Palms contains four bedrooms, three with double beds and the fourth has a large luxury adult bunk for two people. There's also a pull out double sofa for two adults in the living room. There are two baths and a shower room. The third floor double bedroom has a romantic open bath in the room and walk out roof terrace.  The huge sun deck is perfect for group yoga or sun bathing. Soap, shampoo and conditioner is provided. There's a full length Hollywood mirror with lights for having your makeup and hair done on your big day. Ultra fast WIFI throughout, yoga mats,  a 50" smart TV, video pinball  machine and retro arcade machine will keep you entertained. Whether you're working away from home, seeking a relaxing retreat, preparing for your wedding day or simply enjoying your summer holiday, this exciting period house is perfect for you.  The kitchen has Smeg espresso machine (beans provided for a fresh brew), toaster, kettle, induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge and separate freezer, washing machine and dryer. There's parking on site for one vehicle and free street parking on the road. Our space is small but guests have parked transit van sizes on there without issue. There is also paid for parking in dedicated car parks very close by with reasonable rates. Walk to Arundel Castle gates in minutes or stroll to many of the fine restaurants and cafes in town. There are plenty of walks from the house right onto the South Downs or follow the river to the Sussex beaches.  We have Goodwood Motoring Events, Fontwell Races, Chichester Festival Theatre, the Witterings stunning beaches and Brighton within easy reach too. Guest access You have access to the entire property and garden. Other things to note This is NOT a party house! Quiet Hours are 10PM to 8AM outside and inside. Arundel River is very peaceful & the neighbours are disturbed if you are in the garden after 10pm No Hot tub after 10PM please No garden use after 10PM (The neighbours CAN hear you) please No Balconies and sun deck use after 8PM please No outdoor music please We welcome children to the property but adult care must be taken as we have a hot tub and live next to the river We don't have stair gates or high chair for toddlers. Feel free to bring those items to the house. There are some low ceilings due to the age of the property.
