The Pond House, a Waterfront retreat located in Essex a few minutes from town. The house is located on a pond, on 3 acres in a private country setting, the property has park like grounds; multiple fire pits with sitting areas, hiking trails, fishing, access to kayaks and row boat on the pond. This is a perfect place for relaxing, have some tranquility — we’re offering a retreat that’s peaceful in a quiet and relaxed environment. The space "The Pond House" is a Waterfront wildlife sanctuary. The Pond House is the perfect mix of luxury and nature. The property offers water views from almost every room and is a picturesque retreat during every season. Here you can relax, kayak, hike, soak in the hot tub, use one of the many fire pits, roast s'mores, photograph nature, bird watch, fish, read, write, meditate, explore the private pond and more. There are restaurants, wineries, breweries, nature trails, beaches & parks, quaint shops, indoor and outdoor activities, museums and theaters! Guest access The Pond House, has one en-suite guest room with private luxurious bathroom and three private guest rooms, that share 1 full, 1 half baths and laundry space. On property there are four private guest rooms; three guest rooms, share 1 full, 1 half bath and laundry space. We offer the Water View room, with a king size bed, the Pond View room, with a queen size bed, the Garden View room, with a full size bed and the Grand View room, offers a king size bed with a private en-suite luxurious bathroom. The Water View room, is a quiet and peaceful room overlooking the pond with picturesque views. This room is bright and sunny with gorgeous sunrises. This guest room offers a king size bed, cathedral ceilings with soft blues and whites to create a peaceful sleeping environment. If you’re looking for a room that’s spacious for a great nights sleep and wake up feeling refreshed, with spectacular sunrises and lots of sunshine … the Water View Room is perfect! The remainder of the house is shared and enjoyed by the guests staying in all three private rooms. These shared spaces include the kitchen, dining room, the living room, the bathrooms, the hot tub, the deck, multiple patios and the backyard. Guests have access to the entire house, the deck, multiple patios and the backyard area. Living Room - has a wood burning fireplace for the winter months with year round water vIews. Deck off of the living room - has a propane fire pit table, Adirondack chairs, outdoor dining table, gas grill, outdoor blankets, string lights, tiki torches & water views. Hot Tub on Patio - year round, 4 person hot tub & water views. Backyard - there are multiple wood burning fire pits, firewood, dining tables, sitting areas, picnic tables and hammocks throughout the property. Other things to note If you are staying when there is a new check in for the other guest room(s), our cleaning crew or we will be cleaning and tidying up the shared spaces.
