We try really hard to create a welcoming, respectful environment for our guests. This room is spacious with a comfy king sized bed, desk, wardrobe with plenty of storage space and 4K HDTV. Roomy bedroom with plenty of natural light, king sized bed, desk/vanity, two large wardrobes with room for hanging clothes and folded clothes and a 43" HDTV. Newly remodeled. It does share a full bathroom with one other guest's room on the 2nd floor and we have another half bath available on the first floor as a backup. Kitchen, laundry, backyard. Please note we live full time in our other location 15 min away. We often stop by to check to make sure everything is clean and well stocked every other day. We even sometimes invite guests to a dinner or cookout. We try really hard to create a welcoming, respectful environment for our guests. We specialize in long term, professional corporate/healthcare worker housing and many times have travel nurses, medical students and other business professionals staying at this location. There are only two houses on our street, one is a daycare and one is our house. Our house is a brick twin, and we are on the right side. It's just a few blocks from the ramps to 95. It's about 8 blocks from downtown Wilmington with plenty of off street parking with no meters so it's actually easier than staying downtown. Heading out of PHL airport?.. It's only 20 minutes by Uber/car. We have another listing for the entire 3rd story loft with a private master suite and another room on the second floor with a private master suite of you looking for something with a private bathroom. Take a stroll down beautiful tree lined Baynard Blvd on the double wide sidewalk and look at the lovely Victorian homes. Just a few blocks down Baynard is Brandywine park where there is a playground and the Brandywine River. For medical professionals our home is conveniently located near Christiana -Newark & Wilmington, AI Dupont and St. Francis. For those working downtown, we are very close to all the banks. Please note this location is in the city, with city sounds and people walking around. Our location is safe, we have lived here for 10 years without any problems. There is a local DART bus stop on the corner which goes downtown.. We are minutes from Amtrak/Greyhound bus station, 20 minutes from PHL airport via 95 with only two stoplights on the way. For those without a car, Uber/Lyft is readily available. For those wanting to walk everywhere, please consider our other listing " 3BR/1.5bath in Heart of Trolley Sq" where everything is in walking distance. Please note there are several Airbnb guests staying in this home usually at all times. We ask that you be respectful of their privacy and need for quiet, especially after 10 pm. There may be some nights where we invite guests for a few glasses of wine or watch a movie with our long term guests. We try to involve guests in conversation when they are looking for some social interaction. We will not tolerate anyone being disruptive, smoking or doing drugs in the home.
