The journey to Gatwick Airport is about 1h 20 mins by train (50mins by car) There's a nice cafe and a handful of good take-away restaurants as well as convenience store for all your basics (all within 1-3 mins walk) The nearest park is 5 min walk and it's on Green Chain Walk.
