Birkenhof, Schwänli House

The Birkenhof is located in a secluded location in the middle of the Appenzell region in Herisau. It is completely surrounded by meadows and forests and borders on various hiking trails. From here you can walk, hike, cycle and swim. Around the Birkenhof there is a magnificent mountain view of the Alpstein. The towns of Herisau, Appenzell and St. Gallen are very close. And so quickly until you are here: Zurich Airport 40 min OLMA Fair 15 min Lake Constance 25 min Schwägalp & Säntis (2502 m) 30 minutes The space The vacation cottage located directly on the Birkenhof comprises 2 floors with a living room and bedroom, kitchen and bathroom with shower, toilet and washing machine. On the ground floor there is the living & dining area, the open kitchen and the bathroom. Upstairs is the bedroom with a double bed, a single bed and a children's play corner. You are also welcome to use the crib. 2 adults with 1 child can stay here very comfortably. Your dog is also welcome. The cottage has a large terrace and balcony. The area in front of the vacation home is not completely fenced. In the house there is a TV with DVD player, DVD collection and free Wi-Fi (fiber optic). A Netflix subscription and 250 national and international television channels are also at your disposal. Guest access To make check-in easier for you, we have installed a key box right next to the entrance. You will receive the code with our digital guest folder, which we will send you 4 days prior to your stay. In winter, nearby cross-country and ski areas invite you to ski and snowshoe and offer you plenty of variety.
