The space The Beach House Palms is located on Assalah Beach with the swimming beach and coral reef just 30 seconds from your door. There is just one house between our compound and the beach. Perfect for relaxing, sunning, surfing, diving, snorkelling and swimming, it's peaceful, quiet and seafront restaurants, cafes and the souk are all around you. For sleeping, there are either 2 large single beds OR one large double bed in the master bedroom. There are also 2 single sofas in the lounge which would suit a child, or those who are smaller. The property is one of 2 houses in the compound and if you are a larger group, the 2 houses make a perfect space for a family or group of friends. Each house has it's own garden area, and nothing is shared except the front gate. With the beach only 30 seconds from your door, just step outside and jump into the crystal clear, fresh, clean and warm waters of the Red Sea. Beach life is beautiful here and the sandy beach outside is a quiet and relaxing haven; perfect for sunbathing, paddling, swimming, snorkelling, beach combing and cozy fires. Enjoy it by day and by night. Swim out over the shallows and find yourself on the world class Eel Garden Reef, the drop-off where turtles, glass fish, clown fish and banner fish congregate around the technicoloured corals. Walk just 2 minutes along the beach to find lots of beach restaurants and cafes. Walk a little further and you're at The Lighthouse, another of Dahab's famous snorkelling, swimming and sunning spots. Just behind the house and you're in the souk; a colourful and vibrant part of town where you can find all the supplies you'll need. There's The German Bakery, a well stocked and helpful pharmacy, many supermarkets, ATMs, off-licence, a profusion of fresh food and drink and lots of fun with the super-friendly shopkeepers. For a small charge, a private taxi service is available day and night to whisk you over to The Bay, Mashraba, or the beaches and snorkelling spots at Lagoona, The Blue Hole, Wadi Gnai and The Three Pools. The Dahab / Eel Garden area There's so much to do in Dahab, or not do! Whether you're looking for a quiet space to recharge and get creative, enjoy the beach life, the chilled cafes and restaurants, the snorkelling and kitesurfing on the reef outside, or to explore local desert surroundings - you can do it all from here. Snorkelling, diving, windsurfing, kitesurfing, desert trips, Mount Sinai treks, boat trips, mountain dinners can all be arranged easily in Dahab. Airport transfers can be arranged before you arrive or while you're here. Just ask! Guest access You'll have everything you see in the photos for your own private use. Other things to note --Getting Around and Parking -- Dahab is a small town and it's easy to walk around. Taxis are innexpensive and widely used to get to the out-of-town spots such as the Blue Hole and The Lagoona. If bringing your car, private parking is available in the grounds of the house. -- Copies of Passports / ID Cards -- When you make your reservation we will ask you to send photos of your passports or ID cards for the tourist police here in Dahab. Egyptian regulations requires us to do this for all our guests. --Marriage Certificates -- We need to submit marriage certificates for mixed Egyptian groups. -- Smoking -- Although smoking is not permitted inside the house, you are welcome to smoke on the patio and in the garden.
