Our wooden house, which is more than 100 years old, was renovated and furnished in a modern style around 6 years ago. You can enjoy your vacation in the mountains in good and bad weather, the house invites you to stay and be. Curaglia is a small village that is not touristy. From Disentis in the direction of the Lukmanier Pass, it is the last larger village. Starting point for hikes in Val Medel. There is a local butcher's store, a village store and two excellent restaurants. The space Our old cozy wooden house has been newly renovated and offers a luxurious bathroom with bathtub, toilet and rain shower, as well as a separate shower with toilet. We have a modern kitchen with induction hob and oven and dishwasher. The dishwasher opens when you knock twice. The house has a steep, unsecured staircase to the upper floor. Caution for small children and elderly people. On the 1st floor there is a gallery with beds, here too caution is advised with small children. We have lots of board games for bad weather, a TV and a large selection of DVDs and books. There are sledges in the cellar that can be used. In Curaglia itself there is a wonderful toboggan run. Guest access All rooms in the house can be used. As we mainly use the house privately, various cupboards etc. are filled with private clothes / bed linen etc.. But there are also possibilities for our guests to store their clothes in cupboards or chests of drawers. The kitchen is equipped with a coffee machine and coffee capsule, which may be used, as well as teas and spices. Food may also be used, but please replace it. Other things to note The house is made of wood, so please be careful with fire. Please no candles and certainly no smoking in the house. If you are not experienced in lighting fires in the stoves, please do not light a fire and contact me. I can ask the neighbor to light the soapstone stoves or the Swedish stove. Otherwise there are electric heaters and underfloor heating in the kitchen, which work automatically with a thermostat. There's a boiler for hot water, but if there are a lot of people, hot water should be used sparingly.
