Take a break and unwind in our cozy apartment with infrared sauna. Enjoy the tranquility and beautiful views while your children have fun in the terrace play area. Whether hiking, skiing or mountain biking, there are a variety of activities here. A lockable private room is available for bicycles or skis. Various amusement and shopping facilities are not far away, in the lively Winterberg or the district town of Schmallenberg. The space A short staircase leads to the covered courtyard to the apartment with storage for various means of transportation. From here you get to our bright, newly renovated, modern furnished apartment. From the spacious entrance area you come to the bathroom, and living/dining area. This leads, separated by a wall, into the kitchen. From here you can also access the infrared sauna, which is designed for one person. In the living room, there is a sofa bed for 2 people. Via a 2nd hallway you come from the entrance area to the bedroom with double bed (2.00 m) and small work area and to the utility room with washing machine and items such as laundry corner, baby tub, high chair or shower chair, which may be used if necessary. In the bedroom closet is a baby travel crib with accessories. The "basement room" for storing bicycles (max. 2), skis, etc. is located on the front long side of the house and can be reached through a lockable glass door at ground level (key is located in the entrance area of the apartment). Other things to note City Taxes The city of Schmallenberg charges a fee of €2.50 per night for guests aged 14 and over. For this you will receive the "Sauerlandcard" with which you have many discounts and free travel in the buses of the region. To register you, we need the names of all traveling guests. We also need the address and passport ID of guests who are not resident in Germany. If you would like the Sauerlandcard in digital form on your smartphone, we also need your email address. We ask that you send the data promptly for check-in. On site, we ask foreign guests to fill out the registration form provided and to throw it in the envelope provided in the indoor mailbox in the entrance area at the latest at check-out. Thank you! The money for the visitor's tax and any towel/sauna packages booked will be requested separately shortly before your arrival via the Airbnb payment module. - Cost of towel package (towel + bath towel): €5.00 - Cost of sauna package (sauna towel + floor mat): €5.00 - Cost of towel package + sauna package: €9.00 For winter guests: The access road "Am Herhagen" is quite steep, but is cleared by the city - nevertheless, be careful! We strive for your safety, but we cannot guarantee that the parking lot and entrance staircase area will always be 100% cleared. We therefore ask for prudent movement. To the right of the stairs and in the small anteroom to the left of the entrance door there are snow shovels and grit. We ask that you use both to prevent accidents.
