Guest access Guests will only be able to access common areas on the property such as the garden, etc. Guests are strictly prohibited from crossing into neighboring properties under any circumstances. We request our guests to respect the privacy and personal space of our neighbours. Other things to note Things you need to know: - Security Deposit: ₹ 3000 per room - You can book minimum 3 rooms in this Villa. - The 3 luxury tents are on the same premises. - Alibaug experiences load shedding by MSEB once a week, between 9 am - 6 pm. - During monsoon, power cuts may recur throughout the day. We have a Genset backup power. However, we advise switching off ACs every 3 hours to avoid burnout. - The approach road to the home is in poor condition. - We advise traveling in a sturdy vehicle like an SUV. - The home touches the beach, and so we notice a heavy breeze bringing in sand to areas that are exposed - mainly the pool and outdoor furniture. The caretaking teams make every effort to keep this clean. We need to keep the rooms shut most times to protect against the heavy winds. Guests are requested to inform us in advance of their estimated time of arrival so the caretaker can air the rooms a few hours prior to it. - Since the home is surrounded by nature, there might be a possibility of sighting unwanted guests from the animal kingdom. Guests are advised to shut windows and doors before dark. - In case of a power outage or fluctuations, generators can be switched on. However, power outages or fluctuations due to weather, regional restrictions, etc. are beyond our control. Hence, diesel charges for genset operation will need to be paid by the guests after 4 hours of usage, the prices for further usage will be INR 800 per hour. The genset needs to be switched off for 30 mins, after every two hours of usage, to avoid a breakdown. - Considering the unique location of the villa, Internet connectivity can be affected due to the falling of trees, heavy rains, or other causes - As the monsoon season approaches and the coastal winds blow, we wanted to take a moment to inform you about a possibility that comes with this beautiful weather: power outages. Your comfort and safety are our top priorities. In anticipation of potential power interruptions, our diligent villa staff will be on standby to ensure your stay remains uninterrupted. Our reliable power backup system will kick in swiftly. To maintain the stability of the backup system and protect all our guests, we kindly request your cooperation in refraining from using certain high-power-consuming appliances such as air conditioners and geysers during these periods. House Rules: - Outside food is not allowed in the villa. - Guests are not allowed to access the kitchen except for infants with prior permission. - Guests cannot invite other guests and day visitors during their stay. - Bachelor groups & stag parties are not allowed. - We do not encourage parties and late-night revelry. - Loud music is not permitted beyond 10 pm. - Consumption of alcohol is permitted only within limits. - Illegal activities including but not limited to carrying/consuming drugs/narcotics and carrying firearms/weapons are prohibited on the property. - Management reserves the right to report any such activities to local authorities. - Guests are prohibited from smoking and setting up hookahs in the rooms/villa/lawns. - The pool (if present) is unguarded. There is no lifeguard on site. Children in the pool must be accompanied by adults at all times. - Guests are requested to take care of all personal valuables. Management is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to any items. - As required by law, every guest above 18 years must carry government-approved photo ID proof, that shows address. We accept only Aadhar Cards, Driving Licenses and Passports. - Inappropriate behaviour or violation of any of the above House Rules will invite a polite refusal to accept a Booking. If already checked in, Management reserves the right to ask guests to leave. - Tea/Coffee will be served during breakfast and evening tea time. If you would like tea/coffee at any other time of the day, it can be arranged at an additional charge. - No crackers or colours are permitted in this home. All payments for booking the villa, including meals will have to be pre-paid prior to checkin. Security Deposit collected during booking will be returned during check-out or by NEFT within 5 business days after check-out, provided no damages are observed. To avoid inconvenience, we will not be accepting cash onsite for any reasons henceforth. - Security deposit is to be paid two days prior to check-in. If no damages are observed, the deposit will be returned during check-out itself or by NEFT within 5 business days after check-out. Please Note: The Security Deposit is subject to change depending upon the number of nights and the group size. Please check with your holiday advisor at the time of booking. In case of special occasions like wedding and pre wedding ceremonies, milestone celebrations and events, and similar such events that require the parts or entire estate, whether they require elaborate arrangements or not, are at the sole discretion and explicit permission of the management. These need to be informed at the time of booking, and additional venue charges, additional deposits and charges for time efforts and specialised skills needed for prior arrangements and post event cleanup will apply.
