We also offer overnight stays in a hobbit house, or a tree house and a chalet-tipi, a Mongolian yurt, as well as a gypsy-style trailer. The trapper's camp has no electricity, but solar lighting and a fan are installed, allowing you to recharge your small devices via USB. You'll also have a chance to enjoy the many outdoor activities in the area: survival courses, wild picking, dog sledding, ice fishing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, canoeing, swimming, fishing, cycling, treetop adventure course, etc. All in the intimate and enchanting setting of our forest, near the lakes of this beautiful region of the Upper Laurentians. When you arrive, a self-service welcome awaits you, a sign with your name will be present with a bag containing information for your stay. We also offer you trolleys to transport your luggage to your accommodation. Our employees are on site in the trails for the maintenance and proper functioning of the site, and a phone number is available if needed at the reception. We provide drinking water in sufficient containers for your stay, as there is no running water on site, and we bring them to your chalet before your arrival. You will need to bring your bedding, or contact us to rent it on site. Guest access Allow 5 minutes' walk in the forest to reach your accommodation from the parking lot, we lend you carts/sleds to facilitate transport, but strongly suggest taking backpacks. Other things to note Important information: Children under 16 stay for free. Please do not include them in the number of guests when booking. You can add children up to 15 years old for free, just mention it to us when booking. Includes a fire pit, as well as an outdoor picnic area, an outhouse is available right next to the camp. However, a sanitary block (showers and toilets) is available 24/7 at the reception. All the necessary kitchen utensils are provided, as well as dish towels, and household products.
