Maeva and welcome to Taha'a The campsite is located in a green tropical valley of 12 hectares immersed in the middle of a multitude of fruit trees, but especially the best vanilla in the world. A hiking trail stretching to the top of a mountain ridge will let you enjoy the spectacular views of the island. Here is a place of quiet and tranquility where the only noise you will hear is the rustling of the leaves in the wind and the singing of the local avian wildlife. The space You will be accommodated in small huts of 3 m by 3 m built from local woods and coconut leaves. Each hut has waterproof blinds in case of rain, and can accommodate up to 4 adults maximum with wifi access. You can hang your hammock or bring your sleeping bag. For added comfort, screens are available, with mattresses, linens, and pillows. A shared toilet and showers (ambient temperature only) are also available to you. You will have access to a communal kitchen equipped with local style if you want to cook, or the choice to come and taste our small dishes prepared by our New Zealand chef available for breakfast and dinner. We also offer scooter and electric bike rentals and show you around our vanilla fields and finally discover our shop entirely based on local products like Tahaa honey and vanilla. Guest access The only access to Taha'a is by boat. You will have the opportunity to choose between many shuttles from Raiatea or you can choose to arrive directly from Tahiti or Bora by the "Apetahi express". We can then provide you with transportation from the dock to the camp for a fee. You also have parking if you are coming with a car. Other things to note Being in the middle of nature, you will sometimes encounter wild animals such as chickens, wild boar and insects. Make sure you're safe from insects. A shared kitchen and a campfire site will soon be available for guest use. We can also offer you the ½ pension (breakfast/dinner), to contact us. A small souvenir shop, hot coffee, smoothie and others as well as wi-fi, is also available at the reception.
