Exotic and authentic home built with an open-air design, just 350m from the beach. Thoughtfully crafted for an immersive experience in nature and local culture. Three bedrooms, sleeps 6, access to a private shared pool, and Playa El Valle beach. The space Casa El Valle is a unique two-story, OPEN-AIR property situated along the main road through El Valle. Built by a family of 4 and local workforce, it features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, multiple lounge areas, a pool table, and a pool. The backyard and swimming pool are shared with three neighboring properties. All three bedrooms are upstairs, with shelving, draped mosquito nets, and ceiling fans. The front and back bedrooms have queen beds and balcony access, while the third bedroom has two single beds. The back bedroom also includes a small wall safe. There are two bathrooms: a full bath upstairs and a half bath downstairs. For indoor entertainment, enjoy a pool table, smart TV (AS OF 9/3/2025 NOT WORKING, ask if wanting to use), games, and books. – Our housekeeper, Jeannette, is an excellent chef and offers cooking services for an additional fee, arranged directly with her. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, including the backyard and pool. The only areas off-limits are two locked storage rooms. Other things to note **PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: This is not a conventional home. It offers an authentic, OPEN-AIR design meant to connect you with nature and the surrounding culture. While our family has tried our very best to provide amenities and desirable comforts, please keep in mind that it's located in a small developing village in the jungle. Electricity: Power, which includes Wi-Fi and non-potable water, may occasionally go down. We have multiple backup systems in place for such occasions, but it is good to be aware prior, that it can happen and sometimes even the backups are not fail-safe. If this is a concern, feel free to ask for more details. *Stove for cooking can still be used during outages. Noise: The home is located on the only road to the beach. A beautiful thing to watch and listen to the daily routines of people, but this does come with fluctuating levels of noise day and night. Within the house, there are not ceilings to the bedrooms, meaning sound does travel throughout the house. Our neighbors include a small primary school on one side (8am-4pm, 4 days/week, and are not in session summer months and holidays), another home on the other side, and a hostel beyond that *see aerial photos for reference. While we have quiet hours from 11pm–8am and work with neighbors to keep things peaceful, night traffic (due to local eel fishing during winter months) and occasional sounds from nearby properties, including parties, may occur. Although if there is noise from neighbors outside of quiet hours, please don’t hesitate to contact us at any time during the night, and we will do our best to address the issue promptly. Mosquitos: Depending on the season, some mosquitos may be present in the evenings. The house is equipped with mosquito repellents and bug nets for added protection, but since the house is open-air, we recommend coming prepared. Water: Drinking water is provided in jugs. Please do not drink water directly from the tap. **If you're seeking a completely quiet, luxurious vacation, this might not be the right fit for you.
