Welcome to Casa Sonido del Río, the largest and most special of the houses of Hacienda del Río, in the mountains of Bonao. Here you will experience the true Dominican countryside: crystal clear river, farm animals (such as milking cows or feeding chickens), walks among trees, campfires under the stars and a tranquility that transforms. The space Casa Sonido del Río can accommodate up to 10 people (including 2 people on a queen sofa bed), distributed in 3 well-designed rooms: - A room on the first level with a queen size bed - A mezzanine with a full bed and two twin beds - A private suite on the ground floor with a queen-size bed, full bathroom, and coffee station All rooms come with fans to keep you feeling cool and comfortable. - On the first floor you will also find: - A full bathroom - A living room with a queen size sofa bed - A covered terrace with a comfortable sofa - Fully equipped outdoor kitchen In the courtyard there are several private spaces to relax, a BBQ area and direct access to the river that surrounds the property—perfect for resting or simply enjoying the natural landscape. Guest access In addition to all the amenities of Casa Sonido del Río, guests have full access to the common areas of Hacienda del Río, including a large pool, the covered terrace with poolside dining, rest area and full bathroom. You can also freely explore the entire property, enjoy the river and discover a small hidden waterfall, perfect for cooling off and relaxing surrounded by nature. Other things to note At Casa Sonido del Río we want you to feel at home and have everything you need for a comfortable and special stay. We provide: sheets, bath towels, pool and river towels, bottled drinking water, firewood for your campfires, charcoal for the barbecue and local coffee. You'll also have access to several useful and fun items, such as umbrellas in case of rain, boots to explore the farm, pool toys, garden games, board games, and if you're traveling with small children, we have portable cribs (subject to availability). Experiences on the hacienda (included in your stay): -Horseback Riding - Bike rides (reservation required) - Integration with animals: milking cows, feeding chickens and sheep - Trails for hiking or cycling (you can bring your bike) - Outdoor bonfires - Visit to the apiary (seasonal) *These activities have no additional cost, but if you wish to leave a tip, it will be very well received by our team.* Local products available to you: During your stay you can purchase fresh and local products such as honey from our farm, coffee and fresh eggs. And if you're interested in trying freshly milked cow's milk, we'll gladly get it for you to enjoy right here, straight from the field to your table. We are located near the international airports STI (Santiago) and SDQ (Santo Domingo).
