Description

In its previous life, our cabin served as guest quarters at Walt Disney World’s Fort Wilderness Resort. We couldn’t pass up the opportunity to purchase and relocate it to our rural ten acres in the woods just north of Williams, near Grand Canyon National Park. Guests who have stayed in a Fort Wilderness cabin prior to Disney's 2016 remodel will recognize the authentic Disney furnishings and artwork from Disney’s Imagineering department. Plus, it's got the original hidden Mickeys and Murphy bed! The space We are ideally located for couples and families visiting Grand Canyon National Park. Our rural, ten-acre property is conveniently located just north of the town of Williams, AZ and south of the South Rim entrance to the National Park. We strive to keep our cabin spotless, and our guests' comfort and enjoyment of their stay is our top priority. Our cabin consists of an open kitchen/dining/living space, a full bath, and one bedroom. Living room: - Two comfortable sofas - TV with Roku. Bring your login info to sign in and enjoy your favorite streaming services. - Full size Murphy bed - Contains many custom furnishings and original decor created for Disney, from when the cabin was part of their resort operations Kitchen: - Our kitchen is compact, but fully equipped. - We have full size appliances: refrigerator/freezer, electric range, microwave, and dishwasher. - Single serve Keurig coffee maker, and we supply our guests with an assortment of coffees and teas - If you have any questions about our kitchen equipment, feel free to message us! Dining: - Table with built-in bench and three chairs. Seats 6 comfortably. Bedroom: - Queen bed - Twin bunk beds. These bunk beds are 5'8" in length, which is 6 inches shorter than a standard twin. They are best for kids. - Cotton sheets Bath: - Full bath with tub/shower, toilet and vanity. - We supply soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. - Cotton towels Deck: - Enjoy Distant views, amazing sunsets, and that incredible Arizona night sky, from the rocking chairs on the deck! - Deer and jackrabbit sightings are common. Picnic area: - Picnic table on deck seats 6 - Propane grill with grilling utensils Occupancy: While our cabin can sleep 6, at 500 sq ft it's more comfortable with 4 or fewer guests. The bunk bed is intended for kids, so we limit the number of adults to 4. Guest access The entire cabin is yours to enjoy. Plus, we're on ten acres! Feel free to explore the property. We're rural and do get animals wandering through. Deer and jack rabbits are common. Coyotes and elk are in the area. You'll probably hear them, but they tend to avoid people. Our Disney cabin is one of several buildings on our ten acres, but it is privately tucked away in the trees, well over a hundred feet from the nearest other buildings. We don’t live on the property but do spend a fair amount of time there. Although we may overlap with our guests, and enjoy meeting them, we want our guests to be able to enjoy their privacy. And of course if any assistance were needed, we’re available by phone or text even when we aren't there in person. Other things to note This is a private, rural, peaceful neighborhood. We and our neighbors want to keep it that way. If you're looking to party or ride dirt bikes/off-road vehicles, please book elsewhere. Explore beautiful Northern Arizona: about 45-50 minutes to Grand Canyon National Park, 15-20 minutes to Williams, 45 minutes to Flagstaff, 75 minutes to Sedona, 80 minutes to Meteor Crater, 90 minutes to Prescott, and 2 hours to the Petrified Forest. Coconino County short term rental registration number: STR-25-0692.
