Situated on 250 acres of picturesque farmland with dramatic views of Mount Warning, Doughboy Mountain and surrounding ranges, lies this beautifully restored early 1900’s farm cottage, fitted with all the creature comforts of modern living, including a large gourmet kitchen and stunning main bathroom with standalone bathtub. The space Private and peaceful, this is the perfect space to reconnect with nature and an ideal location for couples or a family/friend get together. Visit the friendly cows in the surrounding paddocks, go for a bush walk through the expansive property grounds, or simply relax on the veranda and soak up the breathtaking views. Living: A comfortable and light filled living space with high ceilings, log burner fireplace, ceiling fan and air conditioner. Dining: The main dining room is situated in the beautiful extension off the kitchen surrounded by glass shuttered windows that take full advantage of 180 degree farmland views. The table can seat 6-8 people. There is also another smaller dining area inside the living area. Kitchen: The fully equipped modern kitchen has a gas cooktop and oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee pod machine and everything else you need to cook your own meals. Bedrooms: Sleeping 6 comfortably with a King bed in the main bedroom and 1 Queen bed in the second and third bedrooms. All three bedrooms contain ceiling fans. All bed linen and towels included. Bathrooms/Laundry: The main bathroom contains a large stand alone bath tub, separate shower and laundry facilities, including Miele front loader washing machine, sink/tub and clothes drying rack. Separate toilet/basin. The main bedroom has an ensuite with toilet and large shower. Outdoor: The wrap around verandah contains comfortable outdoor seating for 4. Gas bbq also provided. 20 minutes from quaint village Uki and 35 minutes from Northern Rivers towns of Murwillumbah and Nimbin. 1 hour from Coolangatta (Gold Coast) Airport and the iconic Byron Bay and 1hr 15 from Ballina Airport. Guest access Guests can access the entire house, walk over the property and enjoy the surrounds. The property is located on a 1.2 km unsealed roadway and driveway but is accessible by both 2WD and 4WD vehicles. Open air parking is available on the grass beside the shed in front of the house. Other things to note Completely off grid, the house uses solar energy with back up battery power, has its own septic system and fresh filtered rainwater. The farm is home to approx. 60 head of cattle who graze in the surrounding paddocks. Take care when walking the extensive property grounds, there are some electric/barbed wire fences and open dams.
