The space Abracadabra Surf Shangri-la is one of the few home rentals available on Bluff Beach- a truly magical place with 7 kilometers of pristine golden sand beach backed by untouched rainforests. It is a nature-lovers paradise filled with incredible wildlife...howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys, sloths, caimans, leatherback turtles, parrots, and poison dart frogs are just a few of the animals that you may be fortunate enough to see up close during your stay. There are various beautiful jungle trails to hike and explore the surrounding nature Every home and business in Bluff Beach is "off the grid", meaning that all of our water comes from the rain and all of our electricity comes from the sun, so you can feel great about being a responsible and eco-friendly tourist. Because all of our electricity comes from our solar system, we do have to be diligent about our consumption...some electric devices are not permitted here, particularly those with heating elements like hair dryers, curling irons, electric coffee makers, etc. Phones, iPads and laptops and speakers are fine but we ask you to try to charge their batteries before 10pm and be vigilant about turning off all lights and fans when not in use, particularly at night. Also, because all of our water comes from rain catchment, we ask you to be aware of your water usage when washing dishes and showering and not leave the water running unnecessarily. Bluff Beach is the perfect place to reconnect to nature and get some fresh air, exercise, relaxation, or even do some work online with our reliable wifi.
