A little hideaway only a few miles away from Dover, Dover Air Force Base, Dover Speedway and Dover Downs. The beaches are only 45 mins away with great restaurants and shopping. This AirBnB is located in the historic district of Camden situated in the backyard of a private home. You have your own private building! There are stairs up to the deck as the guest house is on the second floor. The guest house is in my backyard. Access is from the parking space behind my house through my backyard. Please enter through the white fence gate that I will leave open for you. The guest house faces away from my house and has a private deck and entrance. I will respect your privacy or I can be available, whatever your comfort level is. Please note that the kitchen does not have a stove but we do provide a microwave, toaster oven and electric cook pan as well as a coffee maker with coffee and tea. You have the entire guest house and deck to yourself. The guest house is accessed through the backyard and up one flight of stairs. I am generally home but will respect your privacy level. If you need anything or I can help in any way, I am willing to do all that I can. Deaf friendly host conversant in ASL. Camden is a small town and my house is on Main St in the historic district. My house is on the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad. My house was built in 1789 and the surrounding homes were built between 1730-1840’s. Main Street has a steady flow of cars during commute times. The Guest house is well protected from road noise. Cars are a must for this small town. There are several shops within a walkable distance, Rite Aide, Walgreens, grocery store, apothecary and a few other small businesses. We have parking for one car behind the house and on street parking for additional cars. The driveway is along the side of my house and is fairly narrow so take care as you drive in. Your parking space behind the house is labeled as Guest Parking. We have solar lights guiding your walkway to the guest house. Motion detection lights are also in several spots.
