Meschers is a very pleasant place for several reasons: You are near Royan but endure the crowd. The beaches are easy to access and are guarded by lifeguards for safety. The other great peculiarity of Meschers, are its caves, its cliffs with troglolitic habitats and typical tiles (fishermen's hut on poles) This village has kept a peaceful soul. A short walk from the accommodation you have the market square with a lively bar where it's good to have coffee. I'm sure you'll appreciate its family spirit.
