Cappoquin Holiday Escape

Our holiday home is located in the market town of Cappoquin, in the Blackwater Valley with the backdrop of the majestic Knockmealdown mountains. Cappoquin is a 15 minute drive to the town of Dungarvan with the fabulous Waterford Greenway. Experience the beautiful historic town of Lismore with it's majestic castle and gardens which is only a 5 minute drive away. Enjoy a boat trip on the river Blackwater which can bring you to the town of Youghal. The space This house has been recently renovated to a high specification. Other things to note The St Declan's Way , a pilgrim walking route crosses the Knockmealdown Mountains into West Waterford going through Mount Mellerary, Lismore, Cappoquin on route to Ardmore. The local GAA grounds is a 2 minute walk from the property. There is a walking trial around the pitches which is very convenient and safe for a walk with children or for a run (if enthusiastic). The local rowing club is located 2 minutes away on the river Blackwater. There are many sports and recreation facilities convenient to the property. Please feel free to enquire. Two beaches are close by: Clonea Strand is a 20 minute drive and Ardmore is a 30 minute drive. Both worth a visit!
