Family House near Waneka Lake

This lovely house accommodates our French-American family of 6 children (aged 15, 13, 10, 8, 5 and 2). It is warm and woody, reminiscent of the French style. The house is particularly well designed for families. **IMPORTANT NOTICE** We are looking for guests who are willing to take good care of our Great Pyrenees, cat and chickens. Eggs are yours to enjoy. Instant booking is off: please leave us a little message letting us know a bit about you - we'll answer very quickly! The space The backyard is spacious with a large play structure (swing, tower, slide and picnic table) and a smaller one for younger children. We also have soccer goalies. We also have a vegetable garden in the backyard - feel free to help yourself! There are bikes available of all sizes (adults and children). There is a TV in the living room, one in the finished garage and a projector in one of the bedrooms in the basement. All have access to streaming services. Our family is French-American so you will find many references to France and many things in French (including books). For more information about the house, I would encourage you to look at the pictures and/or ask us question - we usually answer quickly. Guest access The whole house is yours! For the check in, we'll give you access to the house through the garage door. You'll be able to find the keys inside the house. Everything is detailed in the instructions. Other things to note We have a very friendly dog (Sol) and an independent cat (Tabitha) that needs to be fed. The dog needs to be walked as well. We also have nine chickens that need their food supply to be refilled and eggs to be picked up. There is really not much to do. They usually have enough food for 3 days. If it is a bit too much for you, please let us know and we can arrange something with the neighbors. The house is comfortable but it was built in 1980 and does not include many fancy upgrades. Note that this is a 1.5 bathrooms. The bathroom upstairs includes a bathtub. A lot of improvement and painting has been done and overall this house has been very comfortable for us for the 7 years we've lived in it.
