The Sun House. Beach, nature, quiet, comfortable.

The Sun House, perfectly situated, steps from beautiful Paunch beach but surrounded by lush jungle and gardens. This cozy little house has a lovely sea-breeze-catching veranda with garden views. There is a comfortable lounge with big sofas and a smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen, a separate bedroom with queen bed, AC, and en-suite bathroom, and good WiFi. The bathroom has a hot water shower and washer and dryer. There are seven good restaurants within walking distance of the house. The space The house is situated just off of beautiful Paunch beach and surrounded by lush gardens and jungle with tall trees that attract the monkeys and an amazing variety of birds. There are a few steps leading up to the covered veranda that has a comfortable sofa and coffee table. The veranda is the perfect spot to catch the sea breeze and enjoy your morning coffee while listening to the waves and the birds calling. Into the main house, you'll find an open-plan lounge and kitchen area. The sofas are big and comfortable with lots of throw cushions and a smart TV, cozy and relaxing. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, six plate stove and oven and everything you need to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner if you wish. There is also clean filtered drinking water on tap. There is a table and benches for two. The bedroom has a queen bed with good quality 100% percale cotton sheets and a deliciously comfortable cotton pillow-top pad, soft pillows, and a cotton blanket for cool nights. The air conditioning unit is here in the bedroom and cools down the entire house due to the layout of the house. There are Turkish cotton beach towels for you to take to the beach or on tours with you. The bathroom has a hot water shower, good quality towels, and a washer and dryer. We provide hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and toilet paper plus reusable makeup remover pads. There is also laundry detergent. The house is situated on a private property with three other houses surrounded by jungle and gardens and accessed by a main property gate and is just a short walk down the private access driveway to reach the beach and the surf. You can hear the sound of the waves... There are seven good restaurants offering breakfast, lunch and dinner within walking distance of the house, and Bocas town, with many restaurants, supermarkets and other facilities is just a 10 minute taxi ride away. We provide the makings of your first breakfast which are either bagels and eggs or an oat and chia pudding that can be either vegetarian or vegan, and fruit, butter and milk and there are plentiful supplies of coffee, sugar and teas (a selection of black, green and herbal teas for the duration of your stay). We also provide oil, local hot sauce, and a selection of spices and herbs. On booking, you'll receive our guest information document with full details of recommended tours, vehicle rental, transport services, restaurants and so on. We are happy to answer any questions you have to help make your stay a memorable one. Our beautiful Pool House and Pool House Too, sleeping two people each, are located right next door to The Sun House, so if you need more accommodation for your group, this is the perfect spot for you. Guest access The entire cottage is for your use. The cottage is situated on a private gated property with three other houses. Shared space is the property driveway and gardens surrounding the houses. Other things to note There are dogs and cats that belong to us, on the property. They are all very friendly. Our dogs don't have access to The Sun House as they live with us and our part of the property is fenced. You might get a visit from one of our cats.
