Studio Daruka

Studio Daruka is surrounded by Australian bushland, just a 5-minute drive from the CBD of Tamworth and a 2-minute drive from the Hospital. The recently renovated studio is an ideal retreat for a single person or a couple. The studio has a living/bedroom area with one queen bed, a sunny kitchen, and a new bathroom. There are cafes nearby, a marsupial park, and the main town has plenty of historical places to visit. The space The driveway is steep getting up to the studio but once there, the area around the studio is quite level. There is plenty of parking space right next to the studio for a number of cars, caravan or even a small truck. There is an option for you to use a championship-sized tennis court which is adjacent to the studio. It is very quiet and peaceful in the studio. Sometimes there is low traffic noise at peak hours and occasionally at night you will hear the “thump – thump” of kangaroos hopping by as they find their next place to graze. You can lock yourself away and be fully self-sufficient in the studio if you bring food and drink - walk in the paddocks, go for a bush walk, or swim in the pool in the Summer (located at the main residence). You won't need to see anyone, except maybe sometimes the owner who lives in the main residence. They do, however, respect your complete privacy. The studio uses rainwater from a tank, so please be mindful of this. Internet and a flat-screen television are available and the studio has reverse cycle air conditioning if required. Guest access The whole acreage not including the main residential building. You can use the verandah of the main residence to have a cup of tea or a glass of wine while watching the spectacular sunsets overlooking the town and valley. Other things to note Mobile Broadband Wifi is available and free data allowance of up to a 40GB If more is required you can recharge the device.
