The space This home was built in 2021 after the fires, this new home is in a quiet cul de sac neighborhood and is a short walk to the lake, community center, local store and more. Also includes a dedicated workspace with computer monitor and docking station. • Bunk room located on main with a queen bed and twin bunk beds. • 1 additional full bath located on main Loft • Includes 3 Smart TVs for everyone to connect their gaming devices or stream using YouTube TV or whatever your preferred streaming app • Shuffleboard table • Games and puzzles • Laundry room is located in the loft Front covered patio Smore's and cooking! • Beautiful Outdoor fireplace – comes with wood equal to one bundle. • Picnic table • BBQ and Flattop grill • Fully fenced Backyard • Turf area includes cornhole and washoos • Tables for visiting • Access to the city park through the private gate Year round fun for everyone in Detroit • In the summer, boat rentals are available from Detroit Marina, moorage spaces are available at Kane’s and Detroit Marina, enjoy many of the lake’s activities such as water sports and fishing! • The winter offers skiing and snowboarding at nearby Hoodoo Ski area, just a 45 minute drive to the mountain, Breitenbush hot springs is only 11 miles away or explore snowmobiling or snowshoeing adventures. Or just sit and enjoy the snow at the house (weather permitting). • In the spring and fall is a great time to check out the local hiking trails with mountain and lake views. Notes: 1. The area was impacted by a devastating historical fire in 2020, since then the area is building back which can cause some construction noise at times, there are also still burned trees dotting the town but there is so much green coming back and potential we are proud to have a home in this community. 2. Lake water level - The water level of the lake is beyond our control. It is controlled by the Army Corp of engineers. During the Spring and Summer, the water from Detroit Lake serves multiple purposes including recreation, fish habitat and also irrigation and drinking water for communities downstream. In the winter, the lake is used as a reservoir for flood control. Normally the lake is at its fullest in May and June and then the Corp slowly lowers the level of the water over the summer. When the water in down there are stumps exposed but it also offers more area to explore! Guest access Guests will not have access to locked closets inside, or the detached garage in the back. Other things to note We love our furry friends but we only allow 1 dog for a fee, they must be under 30lbs and of hypoallergenic breeds.
