Cabin in Talkeetna

A cozy and modern hand crafted dovetailed log cabin with a sod roof located in the heart of Downtown Talkeetna's Historic District. Just steps away from restaurants, shops, pubs and recreational opportunities. Wheelchair accessible. Queen bed, roomy shower, mini fridge, microwave, tea pot. No smoking and no pets! The space Our place is small but comfortable; we’ve paid attention to the details and we are certain you will find that it is, in itself, a work of art. We have also made every attempt to have a handicap accessible facility. Other things to note If there is anything lacking we will strive to provide it; please don’t hesitate to ask. The ceiling fan is powered by the wall switch beside the “Birches” painting and controlled by the adjacent remote. The window shades are full blackout shades and most of them work top down and bottom up. They all work well but the largest one might require both hands to operate. The bathroom lights and fan work on the same timer switch. The bathroom floor and shower work out best with the shower curtains closed; there is a squeegee in the corner if needed.
