QUIET HOURS 23:00-07:00 The space These are our two quadruple cabins surrounded by vast fields and situated in a convenient distance from our farm courtyard and facilities. There is a private odourless Eco-toilet next to each cabin. Showers and sauna are located nearby. Free WiFi. Fully equipped summer kitchen and a swimming pool. Rent our fabulous sauna for an additional charge. We are exactly half way from Tartu to Rakvere in a great central location for exploring Estonia. Car is not essential, as there are daily buses from Tallinn via Rakvere and from Tartu which drop you off just 2 km away from us, also direct trains from Tallinn and Tartu/Valga to Jõgeva and Vägeva, which you can combine with our transfer service. There is a grocery store 4 km away, accessible through a quiet village road/path. The hiking trails start also just a few km away. We are happy to assist you during your stay and we watch the airbnb chat at all times. You find us a km away from historic Piibe road (road 39). There is a lake suitable for swimming and Endla Nature Reserve's visitors' center 3 km away. A day trip to Endla Nature Reserve is a must! Experience its unique wellspring area, eight bog massifs, divided by rivers with narrow flooded meadows or swamped forests, marked hiking trail, boardwalks, various forest communities, wooded meadow and bogs, protected bird and plant species. Partly overlapping hiking trails allow everyone to choose a nature trip within one’s powers. The towers give a beautiful view of swamped lakes. Since 2004, it is one of the Natura 2000 bird and nature areas. Various campgrounds and picnic places in the area. Open 24 hours. Free of charge. In Kärde you’ll find Kärde Peace House where the significant Russo-Swedish peace treaty of Kärde was signed in 1661. Kärde is located at an old, important postal road, close to Kärde hill with forest-covered Endla marsh behind it. Kärde park, the Peter’s stone and the so-called Peace-ditch are of further interest. Close by are many different lakes connected to old legends, like the lake Männika, which was supposed to be the dwell of Kalevipoeg and lake Endla, where supposedly the daughter of Vanemuine (epic Estonian figure) – Juta – used to live (there’s a Juta stone at the lakeside). Don't hesitate to ask us for instructions to find them! 3 km away in Tooma, there is a lake with a new pier and children's pool - great for the whole family. Guest access You'll have access to two terraced cabins that each have the total of four beds in two bedrooms . One of the cabins also has a double sofa-bed, so altogether there are 8 twin beds and a double sofa bed for up to 10 guests. There is also a spacious fully equipped summer kitchen, BBQ and a fire pit for you to use. You can rent the wood-burning sauna for an extra fee.
