You can hike the beautiful Shawangunk mountains, venture into the ice caves, swim at lake Awosting or have a brunch at Mohonk Mountain house. All these are just within 30 minutes of driving. We are looking forward to welcome you. This enchanting vacation spot promises moments you'll cherish forever. The space This unique space is located on the second floor and features a private entrance. You will be the only guest on the entire property, as we exclusively host small groups to ensure a peaceful and private experience. The house has five bedrooms, but during your stay, you will have access to: • One private bedroom • One newly renovated bathroom • A brand-new kitchen equipped with a refrigerator and essential cooking items • A dining area with a table that seats four adults • A cozy living room with a sofa bed that can accommodate two additional guests There is an invisible door in the living room that leads to the rest of the house. It will remain closed during your stay to ensure your privacy. Step outside to your own private deck overlooking the lake, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Near the lake, a fire pit with four chairs is set up for your enjoyment—please bring your own firewood if you’d like to use it. The property spans one acre and borders 25 acres of protected wetlands, offering frequent sightings of local wildlife. With no street lights nearby, the night sky comes alive—the stars shine brighter, and the moon appears larger, creating a truly magical atmosphere. Other things to note Please note we do not have an oven in the kitchen. For your outdoor experience, we provide a gas grill complete with a full tank of propane! We also provide an extra full tank of gas which is stored under the sink in the bbq area in case the original tank in the grill runs out.
