The Bras d'Or lake is actually an inland sea and is tidal, salt water. It provides excellent swimming, snorkelling and kayaking opportunities. The water is considerably warmer than the Atlantic Ocean. The beach is gravel so sandals or water shoes should be worn. Guest access You will have access to over one acre of cleared, mowed land directly on the BrasDor Lake along with private beach area.
