Chickadee Corner is one of two tent camping sites at Porcupine Creek Rustic Camping in Liberty, Maine. This site is nestled in a sunny but shaded grassy hollow covered by a canopy of trees. Enjoy a quiet evening around a campfire; firewood is provided. There is a 10 x 8 platform for your tent and a covered picnic table. We are located in midcoast Maine and are within easy driving distance of the towns of Camden, Rockport and Belfast; coastal hiking, several beaches, breweries and wineries. The space Chickadee Corner is a grassy campsite that comes with a tent platform and a canopy covered picnic table. Solar shower bags and a 7 gallon tote of non-potable water are provided (we suggest you bring your own water to drink). There is also a campfire pit with a grill for cooking. We provide firewood for your stay. The Shower House with composting toilets and private shower rooms is a short walk up the camp road. We believe that you go camping to feel like you are out in nature. While you might occasionally see or hear your neighbors, you are far enough away to feel like you have your own space in the woods. You are welcome to walk the property and trails as long as you respect the privacy of other guests. Other things to note All campsites come with a canopy covered picnic table, firepit, grill and free firewood. Our campground is rustic. This means there is no electricity or running water. We do provide a 7 gallon jug of water for showers, dishes, etc. but suggest you bring your own water for drinking. Solar shower bags are also provided .
