The Garden House

All things Aggie are just down the street, but when you're done for the day come back to this peaceful garden house and relax! Just two blocks to Texas A&M and in one of the few truly walkable College Station neighborhoods with restaurants and shopping all around you, you'll never believe how quiet and simple your stay can be. Situated on a half-acre fully landscaped yard you have your choice: relax in the front garden, spread out in the back yard or catch the breezes in the summer cottage. The space There are three bedrooms, each with king-size beds and multiple blankets and pillows. There is a white noise machine in each bedroom on the bedside table, as well as reading sconces mounted to the wall on either side of each bed. Two of the bedrooms share a hall bathroom that has a walk-in shower. The primary bedroom has a small WC with toilet and sink and a deep soaking tub in the bedroom under skylights. We have a full-size washer and dryer available in case you need to do laundry. The kitchen is stocked for entertaining and cooking with 12 sets of wine glasses, water glasses, plates, bowls, and silverware. We also have 12 sets of acrylic outdoor glasses and dishes if you will be eating or drinking outside. We have a coffee maker (coffee, creamer and Splenda/sugar are provided) and a toaster, as well as pots and pans, knives, cutting boards, a hand mixer and baking sheets for preparing and cooking.  We have olive oil, salt, and pepper, but no other cooking ingredients.  There is a step in the living room down to the dining room, and from the dining room down to the laundry room, so the house is not technically all on one level . There are also uneven pavers, gravel paths, grass and unlevel patios, so the property might not be suitable for someone with accessibility concerns. Guest access The full house and half acre garden are available to our guests. There is a small bench in the front yard. The backyard has various pieces of patio furniture and seating areas including a small dining table with four chairs, a summer cottage with built in banquets and various benches scattered among the flowerbeds.  There is a small fire pit at the back of the property and wood stacked nearby. Other things to note We allow small, daytime/early evening gatherings, but out of respect for our neighbors we do not allow large parties, or any outside activities after 9 PM.  The driveway is spacious and street parking is available for your guests, but please do not let them block the neighbors’ driveways.  The house and garden are not handicap accessible. There are two steps inside the house and uneven pavements and paths in the garden.
