The Solomon House

Relax with the whole family at this historic home built before Luverne became an incorporated town. Curl up with a good book in the backyard or enjoy a rocker or swing on the front porch. We offer large, spacious rooms with high ceilings and plenty of room to move around. We have a fully stocked kitchen, new appliances and washer and dryer. The space We offer 3 bedrooms, one bath with walk-in shower, a living room, fullly stocked kitchen, breakfast area with work space, a front porch for rocking, swinging or eating and a back deck with ramp and large backyard. Parking and entry to the house are from the backyard. The rooms are large with high ceilings and ceiling fans, hard wood floors in most rooms, and a large center hallway. We have spent the months of August and September 2025 updating our kitchen and bathroom floors, installing a brand new dishwasher, adding more ceiling fans for improved comfort, touching up paint and deep cleaning and replacing our entry ramp with composite material. The house is on a busy highway, so there is road noise at night. We suggest using provided room fans and/or sound machines for white noise if you are sensitive to passing trucks and cars. Come relax and enjoy your stay with us in the friendliest town in Alabama, Luverne. Guest access All areas of the house are open except owner's closet. Other things to note Lock box is on the back door and the code is sent before check in. Keys to the front door are kept inside. There are sound machines in two bedrooms and portable fans to help with street noise at night (it is a busy highway).
