The corn crib has loads of rustic charm. Rustic charm galore and close to so many adventures. Mountain bike parks, Dupont Forest, and charming Saluda, Flat Rock and Hendersonville are all nearby. Eat at the old rustic table or at your private fire pit. Enjoy the glow of our overhead lights and read by the bedside lantern. When you can't relax anymore, peddle right out the door into our system of mountain bike trails or hike to the waterfall and cliffs. The space The corn crib is an old corn storage barn that has recently been refurbished into a charming rustic retreat. The cabin is open air with solar lights and solar battery for all your charging needs. The stove is powered by propane and we should have all your basic kitchen needs, so just bring your food and drinks. Bedding- We provide two double mattresses on the bottom bunk and two twins on the top bunk, but you will need to bring you own bedding. A sleeping bag and pillow is perfect to stay comfy and cozy. Kitchen- The kitchen is fully stocked with all the supplies you will need from a two burner propane stove, cast iron pots and pans, eating and cooking utensils, tea pot, and French press. Outhouse- A rustic charming outhouse is provided about 100 yards away from the cabin. Water- Water is provided from the spring below the cabin. We have a bucket for collecting the water and the water is run through a water filter, ensuring clean water for drinking, cooking, etc. Parking- While there is parking for 3-4 vehicles at the corn crib, turning around big vehicles is a challenge. It can be done, but be careful. Backing out might be the best option for larger trucks, vans and SUVs. Firewood- is provided at the shed just below the cabin. It is available for purchase. Sleep comfortably, ride conveniently, and relax completely!
